A 2006 study conducted by researchers at the University of California, Berkeley, and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory looked at the potential health risks involved with common house hold cleaners. What they discovered was less than comforting: the bottles of cleaners most of us use to clean our kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, etc. may actually be hazardous to our health.
When used indoors under certain conditions, many common household cleaners (and even those sweet smelling air fresheners) emit toxic pollutants at levels that may lead to health risks, according to the researchers.
Two more studies, one performed by researchers at the U.S. National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences and another performed in Europe, found that individuals with high VOC exposure (Volatile Organic Compounds—common in chemical cleaners) experience a 4% decrease in lung function. The researchers also found that regular use of cleaning sprays was linked to a 30-50 percent increased risk of asthma.
So all those bottle hidden under your kitchen or bathroom sink—the ones you’ve trusted to keep you and your family safe by eliminating those nasty germs, viruses and bacteria—may be doing more harm than good.
But you have to clean your home. The question is: How can you clean safely AND effectively?
The answer is E-cloth, one of the best-selling eco-friendly cleaning products available. It also happens to be one of the easiest to use. Plus, it’s guaranteed to clean for at least 300 washes.
Unlike the bottles of cleaner you’ve been using all these years, the E-cloth uses nothing but ordinary tap water to rid hard surfaces of dirt, grease, grime and bacteria in your home. The secret is in the super absorbent material (made with a whopping 480,000 strands per square centimeter), which grabs tight onto the tiniest molecules.
The E-cloth comes in several different varieties, such as general purpose, glass cleaning and kitchen cleaning. As you might have guessed, Swanson Vitamins sells E-cloths at the lowest prices available. But I’ve got an even better deal for you...FREE E-cloths!
What you need to do now is head over to the Swanson Vitamins Facebook fan page.
