Organic Coffee – Ground and Delicious

A lot of us here at Swanson Vitamins have been begging for some organic coffee, mostly for selfish reasons. Like 99% of all offices across this great land, we’ve been choking down the Folgers “premium roast” blend day after day, year after year.

Sure, we could have pitched in, pooled our money and gone out to get some of the good stuff like Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, or my personal favorite, Caribou coffee. But, we didn’t. We sucked it up and poured “Folgers in your cup” and pretended it was a fresh vanilla latte. But no more! We just added Swanson Organic Coffee to our product line – a medium House Blend flavor and a dark French Roast (both ground).

However, I must admit that I rarely drink coffee these days. As I continue to improve my diet, caffeine is one of the things I’m trying to slowly eliminate from my daily routine. So far, so good. But I did have to try out our new organic ground coffee when it first arrived just a couple weeks ago. I am happy to report that I was impressed.

Perhaps the most impressive is the price. Yes, I work here and have to tell you that our prices are the best around (which they actually are if you haven’t bothered to check for yourself!), but when I did a quick Google search for “organic coffee” the prices were a little on the outrageous side. Whether I drank coffee or not, I’d have a hard time paying $20+ for a measly 12 ounces…organic or not. Who’s with me?

I also have to say our packaging is pretty cool. Just look at it and tell me you wouldn’t be proud to have it sitting out on your counter next to your (stainless steel) coffee maker for everyone to admire. It really is a thing of beauty, is it not? And listen to the description:
